Clockwork fine as pollen on a bee's leg
Shrouds the devout's terrible faces in woven gold
As they reach, blindly, misguided by their filmy eyes
Clawing into the dirt instead of breaking down the gates their god has crafted
The puppetmaster pushes the lever
The engineer pulls the strings
Making men into angels
